Alaska "07" Come join us in August for a fly fishing trek to Alaska. We will meet up at Anchorage Airport Saturday the week of your trip at noon. We will then be flown to Becharof Lodge at the mouth of the Egegik River on Bristol Bay. We fly into the lodge on a Sat. and fly out on Thurs. The trips available are Aug. 18-23 for silver salmon, Aug. 25-30 for silver salmon and Sept. 1-6 for rainbow trout on the King Salmon River. Each week the group will consist of 8 people. We will be fishing mainly for the acrobatic silver salmon (every year we each bring back approximately 50lbs of fillets). Also in the area are grayling and artic char to be fished. Included in these trips are: You will need a $55 fishing license available online at the lodge. Bird hunting is a little more. BYOB of choice. We would recommend 7-8wt rods. We will have a recommended equipment & clothing list available. We need a $1000 deposit as soon as possible to forward to the lodge to reserve our weeks as they are the hottest available.
